City Parks & Trails

Deephaven's recreational areas include several public parks that offer tennis courts, baseball fields, platform courts, playground equipment, basketball courts and walking trails. Trails and bike paths connect many of these recreational areas. During the winter, the trails are utilized for cross-country skiing.

  • All City Parks are closed 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. each night. Visitors after hours may be subject to citation by the Deephaven police.
  • Tabacco, alcohol and cannabis use is prohibited in all parks.
  • During winter, the skating rinks are closed 9 p.m. - 8 a.m.
  • Dogs are allowed at Thorpe Park only, on a leash and on the walking path. Dog owners must pick up after their pets and waste bags are provided to keep our parks clean!
  • Snowmobiles and ATVs are prohibited (Ordinance No. 705.03) in City Parks. The ordinance specifies the following:

    • On any public land or frozen waters including, but not limited to, school property, park property, playgrounds and recreational areas, except for areas authorized for such use by proper authority when traveling to or from approved snowmobile routes.
  • Any additional park rules are posted at each park.
  • If you are interested in donating a memorial to a Deephaven park, please call City Hall at (952) 474-4755 for information.
