CenterPoint Energy Gas Line Work & Road Closures – Starting March 30th, 2026
Residents are advised that CenterPoint Energy will be conducting gas line improvements within the City beginning April 30, 2026. This work will require temporary road closures and may impact traffic in the following areas:
Phase 1 (Approx. 4 weeks)
Work will begin at the intersection near City Hall along Minnetonka Boulevard and continue to Garden Road.
Phase 2 (Approx. 4 weeks)
Construction will take place on Cottagewood Road, from Minnetonka Boulevard to Vine Hill Road.
Phase 3 (Approx. 4 weeks)
Work will continue on Vine Hill Road, from Cottagewood Road to Carsonwood Avenue.
During construction, residents will continue to have full access to their homes. However, non-resident or through traffic is strongly discouraged in these areas during active work due to limited access and safety considerations. Drivers should expect temporary road closures, detours, and minor delays.
