Deephaven Beach Patrol / Lifeguard
Seasonal Part-time Positions
$20 to $25 Per Hour

The City of Deephaven is seeking seasonal lifeguards to join our Deephaven Beach Patrol this summer! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for part-time hours and/or flexible scheduling while working outside on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.  As a lifeguard, you will help maintain a safe swimming environment, assist beachgoers and help maintain a fun and enjoyable beach experience for everyone.

To be hired as a member of the Deephaven Beach Patrol, you will need to:

• Be 15 years of age or older
• Have a great attitude and enjoy working outdoors
• Possess current Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid Certification; or have the ability to successfully complete the above certification course prior to your first shift
• Be able to perform Lifeguard Training pre-course skill requirements at regularly scheduled in-service training as required by law
• Have the ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds 
• Be a proficient swimmer
